The leafy Coyoacan district's Museo Frida Kahlo, aka The Blue House is the iconic painter's former residence and has been open to the public since 1958.One of the most architecturally stunning and iconic museums since it debuted its aluminum-tiled Planco district home in 2011, the six-floor Museo Soumaya boasts a world-class private collection of Mexican and international works, including the world's largest collection of Rodin sculpture castings (outside France). LGBTQ History organization El Seminario Histórico LGBTTTI Mexicano is headquartered in the Women's Museum (Museo de la Mujer), which features equality-themed exhibitions, films, and workshops for the LGBTQ community.
